The oldest university in the world Harvard University founded in 1636 is devoted to excellence in teaching, learning and research and believes in developing leaders who make a difference in the world.
The Harvard Alumni Entrepreneur (HAE) which is dedicated to the advancement of entrepreneurship, promotion of innovation and ideals of leadership and learning has appointed Sri Lankan business leader Dr. Rohantha Athukorala to the Harvard Entrepreneur Alumni Indian Chapter Co Chair Committee.
Indian Chapter is co-chaired by Rachna Sharma, Sashi Vij, Akshay Goyal. The Co-Chair Committee consists of Dr. Rohantha Athukorala, Souraabh Shaw, Manish Damian, Saurav Aurora and Munir Merali.
The select committee will drive Global networking events in the South Asian region valued at $ 4.4 trillion growing at 5.6% in the backdrop of a global recession. The team will also set up Investor-Mentor sessions, Knowledge series and promote Entrepreneurial activities in the region.
Harvard Alumni Entrepreneur consist of 16,060 members from 74 countries with the President being Regina H. Ryan and board consist of Benjamin Bornstien, Joseph Martinez, Philip Guatino, Brett Hickey, and Julia Kim.
