Roshani Fernando appointed to Kelsey Developments Board

Roshani Fernando has been appointed to the Board of Kelsey Developments Plc as an Independent Non-Executive Director. 

She has over 25 years of experience in management, marketing, brand building and managing customer experience across many sectors.

She holds a BSc in Management Science and Quantitative Methods, Loughborough University School of Business and Economics; Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Business, Columbia Business School. She completed the Certified Course in Customer Loyalty, Kellogg’s School of Management, North Western University and Executive Program, Business Process Design for Strategic Management, MIT Sloan School of Management and Customer Experience Strategy and Design, RMIT University.

She was responsible for growing the Land Rover brand to be the market leader for premium 4x4 vehicle segment from 2007-2017. Her skills in brand building and managing customer experience is seen as the cornerstone of the success of Land Rover.

Prior to this, Fernando headed the sales and marketing for her family business Jinasena Ltd., where she served in many positions including the role of Deputy Chairman. At Jinasena’s she drove the commencement of the export of their products and set up branches in the Maldives and Botswana.

Currently, she serves as a Director of Innosolve Lanka Ltd., a start-up concentrating on mobility, sustainability and strategic consulting. She also serves as a Mentor at Hatchworks Ltd. and as a consultant to Tea & Herb, Lanka Environment Foundation.

With the latest appointment the Board of Kelsey Developments Plc comprises of A.D.E.I. Perera (Chairman), C.L. De Silva, D. Schaffter, P. Schaffter, R. Schaffter and R. Fernando.
