Rossiya Airlines has commenced its services becoming the fourth airline to facilitate travel between Moscow, Russia and Colombo.
Operating four days a week via Boeing-777, Rossiya Airlines has established a specific schedule for its Moscow-Colombo route from 1 January, enhancing accessibility and convenience for travellers. The foreign air operator certificate was officially presented by the Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka (CAASL) Director General and Chief Executive Officer P.A. Jayakantha to Rossiya Airlines Head of Planning and Operations Nikita Dolgov at the CAASL office premises in Katunayake on 29 December.
Rossiya Airlines now joins the ranks of Aeroflot, Azur Air and Red Wings in facilitating air travel between Russia and Sri Lanka. The introduction of the new airline expands the options available for passengers travelling between the two destinations.
