Rotary Youth Leadership Awards 2019 kicks off today in Negombo

The 2019 edition of the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards in Sri Lanka today and tomorrow at Paradise Hotel, Negombo will feature an outstanding Faculty from the private sector and the world of Rotary.

The EY Entrepreneur award winner Jayomi Lokoliyana who is the co-founder and CEO of ZMessenger will talk on Entrepreneurship and Innovation, the husband and wife duo Graham and Renuka Marshall who is CEO of Industrial Solutions – CIC Ltd. and MD of TBWA/TAL who will talk on Managing Projects – A Life Skill, Shuvo Hridayesh – CEO Success Zante will talk on ‘Effective Communication’, Top business personality Kasturi Chellaraja – Managing Director Hemas Pharmaceuticals Logistics and Maritime will talk on Leadership with Passion whilst respected Corporate Personality Dr. Rohantha Athukorala – President/CEO of Clootrack Sri Lanka and Maldives will talk on ‘Emotional Maturity in Leadership’. Yukthi Gunasekara – Managing Director YKG Associates will talk on Business and Social Etiquette.

The Senior Rotarians who will address the youngsters will be Dushan Soza – District Governor, Ajith Weerasinghe – District Governor Elect whilst Past District Governor Thariq Thulba will talk on Rotaract – Rotary Transformation Life Skill. Dinal I. Bandaranayake Dandeniya the District Assistant Secretary will talk on ‘Work Life Balance. 

The program will lead to the next generation of leaders that Rotary is building for corporate Sri Lanka.
