SAPPTA congratulates President Anura Kumara Dissanayake

The Spices and Allied Products Producers’ and Traders’ Association (SAPPTA) yesterday extended its congratulations to President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, who was sworn in as the ninth Executive President of Sri Lanka.

In a statement, the SAPPTA expressed confidence in the President’s leadership and commitment to advancing the country’s economic and development goals.

The Association pledged its support to collaborate with the new administration in addressing key challenges and opportunities in the sector. “We look forward to working closely with President Dissanayake to promote the growth of the spice industry and enhance export potential,” SAPPTA President Christopher Fernando said.

He emphasised the importance of addressing some of the key reforms and Government support to boost the country’s spice production and exports to surpass the $ 1 billion mark.
