SL-China Business Council seminar on ‘Enhancing Exports to China & Attracting Investments’

With both Sri Lankan and Chinese Government wishing to enhance bilateral relationships along with trade and investment, the Sri Lanka-China Business Council will conduct a half-day seminar followed by a panel discussion on ‘Enhancing Exports to China & Attracting Investments’, on 6 June, from 2 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Hilton Colombo Residences, Colombo 02.

The Sri Lanka-China Business Council is one of several bilateral councils set up under the aegis of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce. This Council has been involved in promoting trade and investment initiatives for its membership by way of seminars, catalogue exhibitions, trade missions, B2B meetings, and more.

This seminar will cover entry strategies and marketing opportunities in China, the role of Sri Lanka Export Development Board, investment opportunities in China, how to attract Chinese investors, and how to do business with China. The panel discussion will be presided by Ministers Sagala Rathnayake and Dr. Harsha De Silva, along with senior staff members from the Export Development Board, Department of Commerce, and the Commerce Section of the Embassy of China.
