Unveiling a new inspiring and possibility-driven theme, urging all Sri Lanka to forge a bright future of endless prospects in a world of bold new opportunities, SLT-Mobitel, unveiled its theme for 2023 ‘Be Brave Dream Big’ at an auspicious event held at the Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) Headquarters recently.
The celebratory ceremony to usher in the new theme, was held with the participation of SLT-Mobitel Senior Management including Group Chairman Rohan Fernando, SLT and Mobitel Board of Directors, Group CEO Lalith Seneviratne, SLT CEO Janaka Abeysinghe, Mobitel CEO Chandika Vitharena, subsidiary CEOs, senior personnel, staff, customers, and well-wishers.
Commencing the event, the National flag was hoisted by the Group Chairman followed by the respective CEOs raising the corresponding corporate flags. The singing of the National anthem preceded multi religious blessings for the institute and staff. Motivating new year messages were delivered by senior management during the ceremony. The event was also transmitted live on Peo TV channel 200 for staff in regional areas.

To help navigate the new virtual world and unleashing the next wave of digital disruption, SLT-Mobitel is providing Sri Lanka’s first immersive metaverse experience via ‘Traverse’. Customers will experience a virtual landscape of attractions, offerings, and immense possibilities.
Underlining SLT-Mobitel’s belief in new technologies and digital services playing a positive role in transforming society and enhancing individual quality of life in the years ahead, other solutions including ‘Google Assistant’, ‘MySLT Fault Localiser’ and ‘Cargills off the shelf package’ were also introduced.
