Finance Minister Ali Sabry and his delegation yesterday met with the World Bank Managing Director Operations Axel van Trotsenburg at the World Bank Headquarters in Washington DC.
Trotsenburg and Minister Sabry discussed the current economic situation and the way forward.
Trotsenburg also provided insights on mitigating the difficulties in trying times and the ways in which to return to a proper growth trajectory whilst reassuring Minister Sabry that the World Bank will provide its support to Sri Lanka.
