Sadaharitha celebrates excellence and innovation at Annual Awards Night 2018/19

The Sadaharitha Awards Night 2018/19, held under the theme ‘Across Barriers’, served to recognise and appreciate staff for their performance, output, and hard work.

The special celebration was held at Eagle’s Lakeside, Attidiya, Dehiwala on 18 July, under the auspices of Chairman Sathis Nawaratne as Chief Guest and in the presence of senior management.

Over 250 awards, foreign tours, cash prizes, and certificates were presented to marketing staff who had excelled during the year 2018/19. Additionally, special awards were presented to recognise several employees for their outstanding contribution.

Devika Wijegunasekara of Panadura 1 Branch was adjudged the ‘Most Outstanding Salesperson of the Year while Matara 1 Branch Senior Branch Manager Sarath Kumara received the ‘Most Outstanding Branch Award’ for the second consecutive year and Rukman Rathnayake of Region 2 won ‘Most Outstanding Region Award’.

Addressing the audience Chairman Sathis Nawarathna noted, “I continue to be very impressed with the quality, enthusiasm and passion of our employees and together as a company will soon be recognised as a main player in the global Agarwood market growing the highest number of Agarwood trees and producing the best quality Agarwood in the world. Contributing towards this goal is our own novel inoculation drive that has commenced as we intend to inoculate at least 100,000 trees yearly in the future.”
