Legendary Indian superstar Amitabh Bachchan recently offered ‘Made in Sri Lanka’ ‘Samahan’ herbal drink during his TV show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepathi’ or KBC Season 14 for a participant who had cold symptoms.
Samahan is a creation of Link Natural Products Ltd. and has been basking in the global limelight during this year.
During the Hindi-language television game show version of ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire’ Bachchan offers a glass of Samahan for a participating lady who had a continuous cough.
“You seem to have a contagious cough, could I offer you a glass of hot water?” Bachchan asked the lady in the audience, noting that he recommends herbal tea called ‘Samahan’, which you may or may not know.
Lady who was unable to talk nodded to the offer, whilst the actor swiftly offered her a glass of Samahan herbal tea. The lady in the audience gratefully accepted the drink, and said it helped her feel better almost immediately.
The episode however was aired five months ago, till it resurfaced last week via YouTube.
