Schneider Electric brings together partners and customers in Sri Lanka for Innovation Day

Schneider Electric, the leaders in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, recently hosted an Innovation Day for its channel partners and customers in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The initiative was an endeavour to share with the key influencers of leading organisations in manufacturing, telecom, IT and BFSI a technology influenced business model and to understand the opportunities and industry trends which are increasingly getting powered by digitalisation. Schneider Electric also showcased its technology and solutions for energy efficiency, through infrastructure management and modernisation, for better returns on investment and for achieving profitability in a sustainable way. 

The day-long event began with an interactive session with the channel partners on themes like Data centre, UPS, Storage, Cooling, and Schneider Electric’s partner relation programs. This was followed by a ‘meet and greet’ with end customers to discuss growing business opportunities in the digital era and challenges of the data centre industry. The sessions also highlighted the growing need for investments in data centre to better manage the infrastructure with modular, scalable power and cooling products. Schneider Electric also demonstrated its energy efficient solutions for server rooms, network rooms and small to medium DCs.

Speaking on the occasion, Schneider Electric IT Division Country President – Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Maldives Abid Makhani said, “We need to reimagine our data centres for a connected tomorrow and for continuous business innovations at all levels. We also need to integrate and have a scalable physical IT infrastructure to ensure business continuity. Schneider Electric’s EcoStruxure solution architecture offers everything for an IT physical infrastructure deployment including backup power, power distribution, cooling, enclosures, management software and apps and analytics. Adaptable solutions scale from smallest IT spaces to multi-megawatt data centres to industries.



Launching Easy UPS 3S in the region, Schneider Electric Director, Business Development Manish Gokhale said, “Leveraging our strength in digitisation of energy management through connected products, we are excited to bringing to our customers Easy UPS 3S, a 10-to-40kVA Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS). Our aim is to empower our end customers in the SMB segment with higher operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness, as power stability with robust electrical specifications is a critical requirement for long-lasting performance and business continuity.” 

He further added, “The Easy UPS 3S is a versatile, high quality, cost competitive UPS developed to handle a wide voltage range, inconsistent power conditions and has been designed aptly o address market-specific needs the Easy UPS 3S will be available in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan.”
