Seminar on new trends in packaging

A product’s packaging communicates many things, from what the product can do for your customers to your company’s values. It can be argued that the packaging of a product is as important as the product itself, because it can act as a crucial marketing and communication tool for your business.

In order to assist SMEs in developing effective packaging methods for their products, the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, in association with the Sri Lanka Institute of Packaging/Packaging Development Centre has organised a seminar on packaging requirements and standards, which is scheduled to be held on 30 January. The seminar will be conducted by industry experts and is targeted at SMEs, but participation is open to all who are interested.

The seminar will include an introduction to proper methods of packaging, as well as presentations on paper board packaging, plastic packaging and how to obtain packaging related information.
