The Cabinet of Ministers on Monday approved awarding contract to supply diesel for six months starting 15 December 2024, to Singapore’s BB Energy (Asia) Ltd., following competitive bids.
The Government said the move follows bids called from registered suppliers of Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC).
It said bids called from the registered suppliers of CPC for the long-term contract to import four shipments of diesel (0.05% M/S) for a period of six months from 15 December 2024 to 14 June 2025.
It added that out of six bidders, BB Energy (Asia) Ltd., was selected to award the contract based on the recommendations of a Special Standing Procurement Committee appointed by the Cabinet of Ministers.
