Siyapatha Finance to raise Rs. 5 b via debentures

Siyapatha Finance PLC is to raise Rs. 5 billion via a listed debenture issue.

Its Board of Directors have resolved to issue 30 million listed, rated, senior, unsecured, redeemable debentures of Rs. 100 each with an option to offer a further 10 million debentures each in the event of an oversubscription of initial and subsequent issues.

The tenor of the debentures is five years and will carry a fixed interest rate in compliance with the guidelines of the Central Bank. The issue is subject to regulatory approvals.
