Speed Water celebrates 15th anniversary with innovative strategies

Speed Water Systems, a leading Sri Lankan company that produces purified bottled drinking water celebrated their 15th anniversary ceremoniously. A large crowd including accredited sales agents and Speed Water consumers participated in this ceremony, held under the patronage of Speed Water Systems Chairman and Managing Director Nishantha Delgoda.

Voicing his views on the 15th anniversary, Delgoda said, “15 years ago, the business of manufacturing and marketing bottled drinking water is not so developed as at present. Furthermore, bottled drinking water was not that popular among the general public. We launched Speed Water Systems in such a background. We launched Speed Water Systems under the slogan ‘To make purified water more affordable and available to all.”

According to that, to date, we have established Speed Water Distribution Centres and Sales Stalls in all main and sub-cities in all provinces in Sri Lanka including the North and the East. During the past one and a half decade period, Speed Water Systems have introduced several innovative and creative concepts to the field of marketing bottled drinking water. For example, we were the first to introduce sales stalls selling only bottled drinking water to the country. Consumers are able to buy bottled drinking water at the manufacturer’s price through those sales stalls. Even now, only our company, Speed Water Systems, has stalls selling only bottled drinking water. The new marketing concepts introduced by Speed Water Systems caused to the promotion of this sphere of business. Furthermore, those concepts also caused bottled drinking water becoming popular among consumers.”

Speed Water Systems a 100% Sri Lankan company launched in 2003, is marketing drinking water purified using ultra-modern technology and bottled under hygienic conditions throughout the island. The Company is marketing products such as bottled drinking water in small bottles of 500, 1000, 1500 ml and 5 litres, mega bottles of 19 litres, Oxygenated Water, Ice Cubes, Packeted Water, Kid Water Bottles, Dispensers and Speed Lemon Juice to public and private sector organisations, residences of all status and all consumer public.
