Sri Lanka Economic Summit to highlight blueprint for economic transformation

The concluding session of the Sri Lanka Economic Summit organised by The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce will explore a ‘Plan for Economic Transformation’, to position Sri Lanka on a strong and sustainable growth trajectory. 

Conducted under the theme Shaping Sri Lanka’s Future: Transformational Growth Rooted in Sound Economic Policies, the SLES will be held on 28 and 29 January at the Shangri La Hotel, Colombo. The session will build on the insights shared throughout the summit, offering a platform for key policymakers and institutional leaders overseeing portfolios such as finance, entrepreneurship, SME development, investment, exports, and State-owned enterprises to articulate a cohesive strategy for the nation’s economic progress.

The panel discussion will feature Finance and Planning Deputy Minister Dr. Harshana Suriyapperuma, Industry and Entrepreneurship Development Deputy Minister Chathuranga Abeysinghe, Board of Investment Chairman Arjuna Herath, and Export Development Board Chairman Mangala Wijesinghe, and will be moderated by Ceylon Chamber of Commerce Board Member Kasturi C. Wilson.
