Sri Lanka-Japan Business Council commends Govt. on IMF deal

Sri Lanka Japan Business Council yesterday congratulated the Government for securing the $ 2.9 billion Extended Fund Facility from the International Monetary Fund.

“We are confident that this will no doubt create the confidence of the Japanese and other investors and also pave the way for JICA co-operation for the important infrastructure projects for the development of Sri Lanka,” said Sri Lanka Japan Business Council President Maahen Kariyawasan.
