Arrangements are being made to mark the 46th anniversary and year 2023 Annual General Meeting of the Old Boys Association of the Colombo Branch of the St. Servatius’ College Matara.
St. Servatius’ College OBA Colombo Branch said: “St. Servatius’ College is one of the oldest schools in Sri Lanka. It celebrated its 125th anniversary on 2 November 2022. Distinguished guests including a large number of old boys graced the occasion. The college has produced many professionals in varying disciplines and sportsmen of international repute during its proud existence and continues to do so to the satisfaction of all stakeholders. At present, the school’s leadership is in the safe hands of a past pupil who assumed duties as the principal a couple of years back.”
During the last 46 years, the members of the OBA Colombo Branch helped the school in many ways to continue its mission uninterrupted as it is a moral duty to foster the institution that helped them to move up in the social ladder. Unhindered growth of the OBAs is vital to extend support to the school while promoting close camaraderie among the members.
The Executive Committee has decided to hold the Annual General Meeting of the Colombo Branch OBA to coincide with the 46th anniversary celebrations on 23 September 2023 at 5 p.m. at Hotel Sanora Thalawathugoda.
