Sterling Steels Ltd., has announced that its flagship product, Sterling, has been awarded the prestigious GREENSL label certification.
The certification was officially presented at the Annual Green Building Awards Ceremony 2024, held recently at the BMICH, Colombo.
This recognition underscores Sterling Steels’ commitment to sustainability and its leadership in eco-friendly steel solutions. The GREENSL labelling system, an ISO Type I Eco Labelling System, sets stringent criteria for environmental performance across the lifecycle of building materials. Sterling emerged as the only Zinc-Aluminum roofing brand in Sri Lanka to meet these comprehensive standards.
