Sudewa and Rangana join EBC Broadcasting

Well-known television journalist Sudewa Hettiarachchi is expected to assume duties today as the Chief Executive Officer of EBC Broadcasting Ltd., which includes Swarnvahini.

Hettiarachchi has over 24 years of experience both in radio and television including Hiru/ABC Group, while having also worked as the News Director.

It is expected that the Swarnawahini channel as well as other television and radio channels of EBC Broadcasting Ltd. will see a major transformation under the leadership of Hettiarachchi.

In addition, popular television personality Rangana De Silva has been appointed as Director Programs of Swarnawahini channel from today.

De Silva rose to popularity through the morning newspaper reading program.
