Talal Rafi to give keynote speech at Dubai International Conference on corporate strategy

Talal Rafi from Sri Lanka will be giving the keynote speech on ‘Business policy & strategy for inclusive growth and development’ at the 17th Academy of Global Business Research and Practice International Conference (hybrid event) to be held at the Metropolitan Hotel, Dubai, UAE from 20-22 December.

Talal will be speaking on institutional leadership, corporate governance, balancing stakeholder interests and the impact of offshoring and outsourcing.

The Academy of Global Business Research and Practice (AGBRP) aims to promote academic research and scholarship that would facilitate effective teaching and student learning, and emphasises the imperative need for the academics and organisations from across industries and sectors to collaborate and engage each other.

Talal Rafi is a Senior Global Management Consultant at Deloitte Consulting focusing on corporate strategy. He was on Deloitte’s global ESG operations team. He is an Expert member of the World Economic Forum and Co-Chairs the Global Plastics Innovation Network action group of the World Economic Forum.

Talal has given talks globally including at the NASDAQ Centre, S&P Global and the Central Bank of Sri Lanka and is a regular contributor in thought leadership for the Davos Agenda. His work has been published by the World Bank, International Monetary Fund, Asian Development Bank, World Economic Forum, UNFCCC (United Nations), London School of Economics and Forbes.
