Telbedde Estate sets an all-time record price

Telbedde Estate situated in Badulla has achieved an all-time record price at the weekly tea auction of 18 April by securing an attractive price of Rs. 1,250 per kg for a liquoring FBOP in the Uva Medium elevation.

This line was purchased by Uniworld Teas after competitive bidding against other leading exporters.

Telbedde Estate is managed by Balangoda Plantations PLC, and this tea was successfully marketed and sold by broker John Keells PLC.
