Textprint Ltd., the fully integrated fabric printing entity of MAS Holdings supply chain, signed a sales and purchase agreement with Trischel Fabric Ltd. on 31 January. Through this amalgamation Textprint assumes position as Trischel’s official print solution provider.

With this merger, Trischel – the only vertically integrated warp and weft synthetic fabric manufacturer in South Asia – will leverage Textprint printing capabilities in synthetic fabric, cotton fabric and lace to offer a comprehensive manufacturing solution.

The amalgamation follows MAS’ joint venture agreement of 2018 with Best Pacific International Holdings Ltd. – the leading one-stop solution provider in the global synthetic textile industry. Since the formation of the joint venture, Trischel has grown to become one of the largest synthetic fabric manufacturers in South Asia catering to the needs of the world’s foremost fashion brands.

With the amalgamation of Trischel and Textprint Lanka, the company will continue to drive performance improvements across the supply chain by streamlining operations and exploring more growth opportunities in the domain of fabric printing technology.

Trischel’s new printing arm will acquire Textprint Lanka’s state-of-the-art technologies such as flatbed printing, rotary printing, digital printing and foil printing, as well as its in-house design and development unit, engraving unit, fully automatic color dispensing unit and other finishing technologies.
