Signs supplementary agreement with BOI

The Board of Investment of Sri Lanka signed a supplementary agreement with The Kingsbury PLC to expand and refurbish the hotel located at Colombo 1.

The Agreement was signed by BOI Chairman Mangala Yapa and Hayleys Leisure Sector Managing Director Rohan Karr on behalf of the Company. Hayleys Leisure Sector Managing Director Rohan Karr stated with regard to the supplementary agreement with BOI: “The Easter Sunday bombing caused extensive damage to our restaurants at The Kingsbury. Our property is currently undergoing a total transformation with redesigned spaces and will soon be ready to offer our guests, unparalleled and unique dining experiences like never before. We will re-launch all outlets once the refurbishments are completed, just in time for when the industry will be reviving.”
