The Daily FT, SLID, ACCA and The International Chamber of Commerce Sri Lanka together with Board of Investment of Sri Lanka, MBA Association of University of Colombo and CIMA will be conducting a webinar on “The FTA Pathway: Exploring Sri Lanka’s Export and FDI Potential.” The webinar will be aired live today 30 March from 4 p.m. onwards.

The webinar will feature experts from both Sri Lanka and abroad who possess in-depth knowledge of the subject matter.

The keynotes will be delivered by Foreign Minister Ali Sabry, Indian High Commissioner Santosh Jha, and World Bank’s former trade economist Dr. Nihal Pitigala.

The panel will comprise of Australian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka Paul Stephens, Italian Ambassador to Sri Lanka Damiano Francovigh, Bangladesh High Commissioner Tareq MD Ariful Islam, French Ambassador to Sri Lanka Jean-Francois Pactet, Deputy Head of Mission of Japanese Embassy Kotaro Katsuki, Joint Apparel Association Forum CEO Yohan Lawrence, Lakshman Kadirgamar Institute Executive Director Ravinatha Aryasinha and Board of Investment Director General Renuka Weerakone

The session will be moderated by economist Talal Rafi and ICC Sri Lanka Immediate Past Chairman and Sri Lanka Institute of Director Senior Vice Chairman Dinesh Weerakkody.
