United Petroleum officials visit Colombo Port City

 United Petroleum’s top executives, Co-Founder Avi Silver, Group CFO Nigel Simonsz, Group Procurement Head Brett Crawford and United Petroleum Lanka Director/CEO Dr. Prabath Samarasinghe on Monday visited the Colombo Port City. 

The Port City Commission Chairman Dinesh Weerakkody and Port City CHEC Port City Colombo Managing Director Xiong Hongfeng had discussions with the United Petroleum team about the investment opportunities in Port City. 

Australian energy giant United Petroleum marked its foray into international retail operations last week, with a distributor felicitation event in Colombo, signalling a move to expand its lubricant range and convenience store concept at its gas stations across the country. United Petroleum will manage 150 filling stations. Additionally, the company plans to establish 50 new fuel stations demonstrating its commitment to a strong presence in the market with an investment of over $ 200 million.
