Webinar on financial assistance packages for businesses

The Centre for SMEs of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce is organising a Webinar on 17 April from 3.30 – 5 p.m. to discuss the Financial Assistance Package offered by the Government for businesses affected by COVID-19.

The key areas of the webinar will cover the overview of the stimulus package, and modalities of implementing the stimulus packages by representatives of Sri Lanka’s banking and financial sectors.

Panellists for the webinar are Central Bank of Sri Lanka Assistant Governor Yvette Fernando, People’s Bank Chairman Sujeewa Rajapakshe, Cargills Bank Managing Director Rajendra Theagarajah, DFCC Bank CEO Lakshman Silva, and People’s Merchant Finance PLC Chairman Chandula Abeywickrema.

The session will be followed by a trilingual Question and Answer session moderated by The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce Economist Jayani Ratnayake.
