Webinar on trade and investment between SL and Netherlands on 1 March

A webinar on ‘Supporting sustainable trade and investment between Sri Lanka and The Netherlands’ will be held on 1 March.

This is the third and final in the webinar series to celebrate the 70th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic relations between the Netherlands and Sri Lanka. The series aimed at growing sustainable trade between the two countries, is organised by the Netherlands Embassy in Sri Lanka with facilitation by the European Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (ECCSL).

At the 1 March webinar the panel will share practical information on doing business and how to finding partners in the Netherlands. 

The online discussion will introduce organisations able to assist in unlocking opportunities with Dutch business partners. This webinar will be valuable for Sri Lankan organisations seeking to do business in or with the Netherlands. Information relevant for Dutch businesses considering setting up in Sri Lanka will also be discussed. 

The eminent panel of speakers are Shanti Pahladsingh, Advisor International Business (The Netherlands and Asia), RVO; Annemarie Grob, Communications and Relations, Union of Dutch Trade agents and importers (VNHI); Karst Kooistra, Sourcing Development Director, Tradin Organic; Arjan Braamskamp, Business Relations Manager, Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP); Arjan Kuipers, Holland International Distribution Council (HIDC); and John Wilson, Director and In-House Legal Counsel, ECCSL. 

The event will be moderated by Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Sri Lanka and the Maldives Deputy Ambassador Anouk Baron, and welcome addresses will be given by Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Sri Lanka and the Maldives Tanja Gonggrijp, and Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Kingdom of the Netherlands Aruni Ranaraja.

A Q&A session after the panel discussion will aim to answer all your questions on to how to develop connections between the Netherlands and Sri Lanka and the support available.
