Amidst the backdrop of the most severe economic crisis in its history, Sri Lankans are confronted with the formidable task of steering their life paths towards prosperity and progress.
Quantum Consumer Solutions, an insights and design strategy company, is hosting its fifth edition of the ‘Quantum Exchange’ knowledge sharing platform. This webinar is scheduled for 5 October at 3 p.m. and will be conducted via MS Teams.
The webinar is designed to facilitate the sharing of our extensive insights into the evolving consumer landscape across various socio-economic segments in Sri Lanka and discuss future growth opportunities. “During the event, our team of consumer behaviour experts will delve into the latest shifts in consumer dynamics. We will explore how the past two to three years have played a pivotal role in shaping the future behaviour of consumers in light of their unique experiences and circumstances,” said Quantum’s Associate Partner Ruwan Algewattage.
“We will offer a glimpse into the lives of consumers and provide a deeper understanding of the new challenges and business opportunities in serving these fresh mindsets. Our content draws on the collective knowledge acquired across a diverse range of consumer work done by Quantum in multiple categories and consumer segments over the last two to three years,” he said.
The webinar will also present principles of engagement in the emerging economy to the marketing community in video format, enriched with expert commentary. Quantum will discuss the drivers of these transformations, new themes, and opportunity spaces that have emerged as a result. It will also provide the marketers with inspiration on how to solve for, and to identify jobs to be done for brands and categories
“The audience will gain insights into how SEC A households prioritise financial management and optimise resources for family well-being. They will also discover how “success” is redefined with a family-centric value system. Brand custodians will learn how these households view “quality” through a lens of “local, fresh ingredients,” despite limited access to imported and luxury brands,” added Algewattage.
It will also be interesting to understand how middle-class SEC B households are committed to advancing their life journey by placing greater emphasis on generating revenue through various income streams. They have reassessed their family and children’s aspirations, establishing more practical goals without deviating from the growth path they have embarked on. The audience will gain insight into their growth strategy, which centres on reducing excessive expenses on essentials and focusing on long-term goals that will pave the way for their progress in life.
This webinar is the October chapter of Quantum’s ongoing knowledge sharing and thought leadership platform Quantum Exchange which is designed to engage its valued clients.
