Yaseen ups stake in Melstacorp to over 10%

L.E.M. Yaseen has increased her stake in Melstacorp PLC to over 10%.

The move follows Yaseen acquiring 887,295 shares at a range of Rs. 85.80 and Rs. 86 last week thereby increasing the overall stake to 120.84 million shares of 10.36%.

As of 30 June 2023, Yaseen held 107 million shares or 8%. Separately M.A. Yaseen holds an 11.68% stake in Melstacorp, control of which is held by Harry Jayawardena-owned entities Milford Exports Ltd., (42.8%) and Lanka Milk Foods Ltd., (13%).
