Yet another all-time record price for Hingalgoda tea

Hingalgoda Tea Factory, managed by Tea Small Holder Factories PLC, once again established an all-time record price of Rs. 1,460 per kg on a PF grade in the Off Grade category at this week’s tea auction held on 7 June, surpassing the previous record price of Rs. 1,400 per kg for the same grade.  Hingalgoda CTC teas are renowned for their colour and thick liquoring characteristics.

This line of tea was purchased by Stassen Exports Ltd. on behalf of Beta Tea and marketed and sold by John Keells PLC.
