Abans, sole agent for LG in Sri Lanka, recently launched the LG Evercool refrigerator, yet another innovative product of LG’s highly-advanced Technology and Research Team, Evercool technology is based on latent heat, where the cooling is retained in PCM (Phase Change Material).
While the refrigerator is running the liquid PCM absorbs the cooling and becomes solid. During power failure the solid PCM changes to liquid by absorbing heat, and releases the stored cooling, keeping the contents fresh and cool for seven hours.
