Access Engineering PLC, the leading value engineering solutions provider in Sri Lanka, was awarded ‘Excellence in Engineering for Organisations’ in the ‘Infrastructure – Construction’ category at the IESL Engineering Awards 2012 held on 19 October 2012 at the BMICH.

IESL, The Institution of Engineers Sri Lanka, is the premier and the largest professional body for the engineering profession in the country with over 16,000 active members.

The annual Engineering Awards hosted by IESL encourage and celebrate the excellence in the science and the practice of engineering by rewarding the best and the finest of its members, individuals, organisations and companies in Sri Lanka for their outstanding accomplishments and achievements related to engineering.

Applications for awards were evaluated based on various criteria such as the volume of work handled during the year, major projects undertaken/completed, cost and energy savings achieved in projects, recycling and minimising of waste, use of indigenous material, interaction with professional institutions, national registrations, national awards, market share, financial stability, etc.

As Access Engineering excelled in these standards, the company secured the award for Excellence in Infrastructure Construction.
