adidas regional bosses in town

The adidas Regional Managing Director Erick Haskell together with Regional Director Sales and Marketing Thushar Gokulnath flew into Colombo recently with a 15 member strong team to conduct their week-long corporate training program. The principals also took this opportunity to hold wide ranging and very successful discussions with the top management of H.S. Clothing Ltd, the sole authorised distributer for adidas in Sri Lanka, to further cement the partnership. The high profile team took time off to visit the adidas stores in Sri Lanka and held extensive talks with a view to further popularising the adidas brand and for further expansion in Sri Lanka. The initiatives taken by H.S. Clothing to uplift adidas as a brand among Sri Lankan consumers were also highly commended by the regional principals. Regional Managing Director Erick Haskell said: “We are very happy with the adidas operations in Sri Lanka for the past two decades. The brand has grown from strength to strength and does enjoy top slot as the leading sports brand in Sri Lanka thanks to the untiring efforts of H.S. This novel campaign offers consumers up to 30% discounts on footwear when they donate an old shoe at adidas outlets to be used for charity purposes. This theme was set up as it would be an ideal platform to launch this season of charity and giving. H.S Clothing has been the exclusive and sole authorised distributer for adidas in Sri Lanka for nearly two decades.
