Airtel’s loyal IDD customers fly to Singapore

Bharti Airtel Lanka, a subsidiary of Bharti Airtel, a leading global telecommunications company with operations in 20 countries across Asia and Africa, awarded four of their loyal IDD customers return air tickets to Singapore through their ‘Instant Weekend’ promotion. The promotion which was conducted during the holiday month of August required Airtel’s prepaid and postpaid customers to make an outgoing call to any country at the given day and time. The winners received return air tickets for two to Singapore. Mahalingam Pradeep, K.P. Arunagiri of Colombo 06, R.D. Kumara of Colombo 03 and H.K. Sivasankar of Elavalai were the lucky winners of this promotion. International Direct Dialing (IDD) has never been so economical and beneficial for customers of Sri Lanka until now. Leveraging on its global efficiencies of scale, Airtel Lanka now offers its customers the benefit of the lowest IDD rates available in the market.As such, customers can now call India for as low as 0.9 cents USA/Canada for 0.25 cents, Malaysia and Cyprus for 0.50 cents, South Korea and Italy for Rs. 1 among other lowest rates. Customers could visit their nearest retail outlet, Airtel store or brand shop, or call 1755 for more information.
