Akzo Nobel Japan GM Automotive and Aerospace Coatings visits Sri Lanka

Akzo Nobel K.K Japan General Manager, Automotive and Aerospace Coatings Sosuke Shinozaki made an official visit to Sri Lanka recently. The objective of his visit was to rebuild and reconfirm the business relationships with local auto giants Toyota, Nissan and Mitsubishi being key clients under his purview. He said: “The business discussions were very successful and we are extremely happy about the response we got, we see lot of opportunities here.” Akzo Nobel is the largest global paint and coatings company and is a leading producer of specialty chemicals. Shinozaki is in the process of seeking global potentials via strengthening business relationships with the countries in the Asian region. His recent visit covered Thailand, Malaysia and India in addition to Sri Lanka. He further pointed out that the purpose of his visit to auto giants in the Asian Region, was to introduce Akzo Nobel’s global expertise, Akzo noted as the No: 1 coating company, and create creditability and positive impression in the minds at the management level. Akzo Nobel’s automotive paint brand “Sikkens” is the flagship brand in the segment and it partners with most leading car manufacturers as an approved supplier leaving the factory flow. “Akzo Nobel’s ability to tap in to its wealth of resources in terms of technology and service, being Akzo itself, amply witnessed by Shinozaki’s visit to Sri Lanka where he has shared his wealth of experience in handling key accounts of leading car manufactures like Toyota, Nissan and Mitsubishi,” said Akzo Nobel General Manager Automotive and Aerospace Coatings Graham Marshall, who shared his thoughts on his visit.
