Alpha exports to Bangladesh

Alpha Industries (Pvt.) Limited, the undisputed market leader in Sri Lanka, for security safes and steel furniture ventured in to fresh grounds by exporting their products to Bangladesh recently.

The company indicated that the export was a result of a joint venture partnership with the Millennium Group in Bangladesh, who had shown great interest in Alpha’s product portfolio primarily due to the features and quality of same. The initial shipment of security products will arrive and be available in Bangladesh this month, whilst the potential to grow Sri Lankan products in seen as huge in this market The Millennium Group is a diversified conglomerate in Dhaka and joining hands with Alpha was a notable feature in their corporate profile.

Alpha products are virtual market leaders in the business of manufacturing and supplying high security safes, light metal furniture, office interiors, hotels, resort and medical furniture. Almost every office in Sri Lanka has had the experience of an alpha product and the latest venture is in to the home furniture market, for which eloquent designs are about to hit the domestic market.

The export business is part of the company’s aggressive diversification plans, primarily aimed at targeting the South East Asian market where joint venture collaboration with other industry leaders in recognised fields are being pursued. Alpha is a fully owned subsidiary of the Finco Group of Companies, who are perceived as one of Sri Lanka’s largest diversified manufacturing conglomerates.
