An iconic high-rise residential development in Colombo has attracted significant buyer interest in the UK following a series of presentations in London, the developer reports. The 400 luxury apartment Altair twin tower designed by the international celebrity architect Moshe Safdie is under construction on Colombo’s Beira Lake waterfront and is scheduled for completion in the latter half of 2017.
The latest presentation by Altair was at a cocktail hosted by the company at the Westbury Hotel Mayfair, in London’s West End. The event was attended by a cross-section of professionals, business people and investors including investment bankers, property fund managers and Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITS).
