AmCham luncheon seminar on ‘The future of the aviation industry in Sri Lanka’

The American Chamber of Commerce in Sri Lanka (AmCham) is organising a luncheon Seminar on the ‘The Future of the Aviation Industry in Sri Lanka’ on 20 January 2012 at the Moonstone and Amethyst, Hilton Colombo from 12.30 p.m. to 2p.m.



The presentation will be followed by a moderated Q&A panel discussion.

Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Limited Chairman Prasanna Wickramasuriya will be the guest speaker at this event. The Q&A session will be moderated by Prof. Amal Kumarage, Professor of Civil Engineering, Department of Transport & Logistics Management, University of Moratuwa.  

The panel comprise Sri Lankan Airlines Chief Marketing Officer G. T. Jayaseelan, Sri Lanka Inbound Tour Operators Association President Nilmin Nanayakkara, Civil Aviation Authority Snr. Director Parakrama Dissanayake and Hayleys Leisure and Aviation Sector Head Johann Wijesinghe.  The scope of the seminar will be the international and domestic airport developments in Sri Lanka, opportunities for international airline industry, opportunities for domestic airline industry, opportunities for international and domestic freight industry and opportunities for aviation services related industries. i.e: aircraft maintenance, ground handling, training etc.  The event is sponsored by Infotechs (Pvt) Ltd.
