AMW to unveil RITZ premium hatchback

So you thought you must choose either a comfortable family car or a sporty compact premium hatchback? Now you can have both when AMW, the Sole Authorised Agent for Suzuki in Sri Lanka launches India’s first BS-IV compliant passenger car, the Suzuki Ritz, on 23 January in Sri Lanka.

The Suzuki Ritz is a compact, stylish passenger car with contemporary European design, a rear passenger seat designed to take three adults in comfort, a tough suspension and 170 mm ground clearance designed for the roughest roads in Sri Lanka.  

For the environment conscious driver, the premium tallboy hatchback Ritz is the first passenger car in India to be compliant with the Bharat Stage – IV (BS-IV) and BS – V Ready (Similar to Euro Four standards) emission norms in petrol as well as diesel variants. This can be upgraded to Euro V standards too.

The Ritz combines sleek and sporty European lines with the latest engine technology which has taken Suzuki to its leading position in this segment – (the A2 segment) – of the compact car market, where Suzuki holds the top (58%) share.

The Ritz will be available with a brand new K-series 1.2 litre, four-cylinder, 85PS Petrol engine.
