Marking a new milestone, Schneider Electric IT Business, the global leader in power management and surge protection solutions, signed up with Trident Corporation, a pioneer distribution partner for reputed IT brands to promote its branded APC UPS range.
Thakral Group Sri Lanka CEO & Country Manager Manish Fitkariwala, Trident Corporation Assistant General Manager Hilmey Niyas, Schneider Electric Country President for Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Maldives Pradeep Saikia and Schneider Electric General Manager IT Business for Sri Lanka and Maldives Manoji S. Samararatna signed the partnership agreement in Colombo recently.
With the addition of APC power management solutions under its portfolio, Trident aims to fill the vacuum in the market by introducing the world-renowned UPS brand to Sri Lanka with the commencement of sales from January 2014.
Commenting on the aspects APC by Schneider Electric considered when partnering with Trident as the Authorised Distributor for APC UPS range in Sri Lanka, Manoji S. Samararatne stated: “We’re excited to partner with Trident Corporation to jointly provide innovative and energy efficient power management solutions to our valued customers. With Trident’s strong presence in the market we are confident that APC by Schneider Electric APC, known for legendary reliability, would set the standards for quality, innovation and support for power protection solutions from desktop systems to data centre operations to entire facilities, in the country.”
