hSenid Group’s appiGo, a platform for e-commerce development for restaurants and retail businesses, is now focusing on helping existing and aspiring exporters take their products to the international market through their newly digitised platforms.

The promoters said the initiative will give aspiring exporters the opportunity to grow their business by reaching new customers and increase their sales in established markets.

appiGo International said the pandemic has accelerated the growth of e-commerce. The global e-commerce market is expected to reach $ 16.2 trillion by 2027, at a CAGR of 29% during the forecast period of 2020 to 2027, according to research in the US. This continued growth is attributable to the increased use of online platforms for shopping and transactions.

“We see a lot of potential in the global e-commerce market, and we want to use it as an opportunity to attract foreign exchange to Sri Lanka. The appiGo platform will help accelerate growth for existing exporters and will be a stepping stone for aspiring exporters to take their products and services to the international market,” appiGo International Chairman Dinesh Saparamadu said.

The appiGo end-to-end e-commerce platform offers Sri Lankan companies access to the global marketplace, providing them with guidance, digital marketing assistance and last-mile delivery integrations to grow globally.

appiGo is a no code development platform which can enable onboarding merchants within 48 hours, with internet payment gateways to simplify the supply chain. With its expansion and experience across the region, the platform complies with international standards and regulations, along with added support which includes customer success, real-time feedback and more benefits.

“We want to boost exports in Sri Lanka, encouraging businesses to export to sustain and uplift the current conditions. During the pandemic, we brought in our overseas merchant and operational experience to build this solution purely to support Sri Lankan enterprises to enhance the export market,” General Manager Dumindu Tennakoon said.

Currently appiGo equips retail and restaurant merchants with e-commerce websites. With their own e-commerce websites, merchants do not have to pay high commissions for aggregator sites. appiGo allows merchants to have access to their own customers and detailed analytics.

appiGo international, an hSenid Group Company, is a comprehensive e-commerce web solution for restaurants and retail businesses for their local and export markets. Today, appiGo has evolved into new geographies such as the Philippines and Bangladesh as a part of their global reach. hSenid Group is an HR and mobile solutions provider for local and international markets.
