Arpico announces first millionaire for the season

Arpico Supercentre yesterday announced its first millionaire of the ‘Christmas Millionaire’ promotion at the Arpico Supercentre outlet at Hyde Park.

 Anoja Wijesighe won one million rupees in cash, receiving the prize by Richard Peiris Distrabutors CEO Micheal Aundrea.

Forty lucky winners won Rs. 10,000 worth shopping vouchers each, while witnessing the grand draw where three lucky shoppers got the chance to win prizes of Rs. 50,000, Rs. 100,000, and the grand prize of Rs. 1 million.

W.J.A.C. Fernando who was first runner up received Rs. 100,000 from given by Mr. Viranga Wickramaratne, Head of Modern Trade,Unilever Sri Lanka and Mrs. Roheni was awarded second runner up winning a cash voucher of Rs. 50,000 by Ms. Shehani de Rozairo, Head of Credit Card & Personal Loans, Standard Chartered Bank.

The promotion will be offering many millions to lucky shoppers until 10 January 2013. Customers also stand a chance to win instant vouchers that are on offer daily.

Senior officials from the Western Province Revenue Department and representatives from Lux, Surf Excel, Flora, Vaseline, Clear, Anchor, Baby Cheramy, Clogard, Coca Cola, Sprite, Club Soda, Maliban, Keels Food, Flora tissues, Energizer, Melbourne Cheese, Turkey oil and St. Clairs were present.
