Peals of laughter, squeals of merriment and shrieks of excitement reverberated as young voices vied for prizes. Children splashed in waves and rolled in sand as they dived into huge basins filled with sea sand, hunting for their missing slippers. Parents tripped and rolled over on the beach as the couples ran for the goal post using just three legs.

The Arpico Privilege Family Beach Holiday was in full swing at Club Bentota where 50 families, lucky winners of the Arpico Privilege card draw had a wonderful, memorable weekend.
One big happy family
Families that met for the first time shed their inhibitions and became one big happy family by the end of the weekend, as they immersed themselves in a series of competitions and games which culminated in a grand dance. The Arpico Privilege Beach Holiday was held for the fourth consecutive year. Privilege members who made purchases of Rs. 3,000 or more, with a minimum of three out of the 10 nominated brands qualified for the grand draw.

“Arpico took care of us so well during the weekend, we didn’t have to worry about anything,” winners from Wattala, the Joseph family said. “We use Arpico Privilege cards because it offers us really good deals right throughout the year and this is the bonus; the chance to win an all-expense paid, beach holiday,” they said.
“We are extremely happy about our holiday; our children had a very active time with lots of games and delicious food. We met so many people and we have become very close to some of them and take our children out together,” said Mrs. Ekanayake a happy parent from Maharagama.
