Arpico ‘Rigifoam’ celebrates service of fishing gear industry

Arpico Rigifoam in a pioneering move recognised the contribution of the fishing industry to the Group’s expanding list of dealerships by felicitating them at an awards ceremony.
The dedicated and efficient team of countrywide Rigifoam dealers and their families were hosted to an exciting, fun-filled memorable outing, at Earl’s Regency, culminating in a grand awards ceremony, in recognition of their best dealer services throughout the year.
RPC Polymers Ltd., manufacturers of polystyrene fishing gear products under the Rigifoam brand, is a part of the Arpico family, the country’s largest manufacturer and market leader distributing polystyrene products who has now spread its wings even overseas, mainly dominating the Maldivian market with their cool boxes.
RPC Polymers with their enthusiasm and drive have expanded the company’s fishing gear, products such as cool boxes, floats and sheets sells to all corners of the country. The dealers’ tireless, loyal, dedicated sales initiatives were recognised and rewarded with certificates and plaques at the ceremony, attended by the company’s top management and the dealers’ families, turning the awards ceremony into a big “happy family” event where the proud families of the top achieves watched with pride as their loved ones were being honoured by Arpico.
“This is the first time such event was organised for Rigifoam family. It was an exciting evening for all of us, there even were programs and activities organised for children,” said Jayantha Alwis of Alwis Agro Export Ltd. Katunayake. “All in all, everyone who was invited for the event was highly satisfied. We are thankful to Arpico Rigifoam for organising such a wonderful evening for us and our families.”
Arpico’s Business Development Manager for Rigifoam Dilshan Abeysekera assured that those dealers who could not be present at this memorable occasion would be present at next year’s ceremony, an event the Arpico hopes to add to its annual calendar of events.
