Asanga at Emerging Arabia Young Global leaders event in Bahrain

Asanga Abeyagoonasekera Executive Director LKIIRSS/Young Global Leader was invited for the Emerging Arabia YGL World Economic Forum event in Bahrain on 6 April 2014.
Less than twenty five Young Global leaders from different parts of the world were selected for this program.
The event topics of discussion were rich in content. Some of which were the ‘New Silk Route’ and ‘Emerging Arabia’, Competitiveness and investing in the MENA Region, the Global Impact of Regional Geopolitics: Development, Scenarios and Concerns, Fighting Global Poverty with Social Credits. The Young Global Leaders were invited for a discussion at the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS)
Abeyagoonasekera met HRH the Crown Prince of Bahrain and several distinguished government officials and scholars during his visit. He also visited the Diplomatic Academy of Bahrain under the purview of the Foreign Ministry.
