Ashok Ref & Electricals wins Silver Award at CNCI

Ashok Ref & Electricals Company was once again able to win Silver at the Achievers Awards by the Ceylon National Chamber of Industries (CNCI) in the micro category for the services they extended in the refrigerators, deepfreezes and air conditioning sector.

Ashok Ref & Electricals Company, under the management of Preethi Kumara is a renowned name in Polonnaruwa for refrigerators, deepfreezes, washing machines and other electrical equipment and has shown excellence in fixing and repairing domestic and vehicle air-conditioning systems. 

They are the service agent of Singer, Elephant House, Cargills, Seylan and RDB in Polonnaruwa and also extend their services to Polonnaruwa General Hospital and several other public and private institutions. 

The company has also shared its expertise in training technicians in collaboration with the National Apprentice and Industrial Training Authority (NAITA) and National Vocational Training Authority for the past two decades. 

They have previously won the CNCI provincial merit award in 2013 and merit award at the national level in 2014 while bagging the first place in North Central Province in alternative products and services category.

Kumara said he is expecting to expand the services provided to give maximum contribution to the industry.
