Asia Securities report correction

With reference to Daily FT article titled ‘Asia Securities predict shift from infrastructure to housing in construction sector’ published on Tuesday, a few errors had crept in.

The population of Sri Lanka was stated as growing at 5-10% per annum. The actual figure cited was 0.8-0.9% per annum. Furthermore, a figure of Rs. 520 billion was quoted as the amount the government is set to spend on infrastructure in the next two years. This figure should be corrected as Rs. 590 billion.
