Association for Sri Lanka-China Social and Cultural Cooperation delegation visits China

A delegation of the Association for Sri Lanka-China Social and Cultural Cooperation (ASLCSCC) led by its Vice President Amal Lokumana, visited Qinghai Province, China under the invitation of the Xining People’s Municipal Government from 15 to 19 September.

The delegation participated at the ‘2015 Xining City Investment Fair for Development’ and a few official meetings with city leaders on promoting friendship, mutual understanding, investment, economic and trade cooperation.

The Sri Lankan delegation had an official meeting with Xining Municipal leaders on 15 September.

Xining Municipal Bureau of Commerce Section Chief Wang Xiaoning, Xining Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office Deputy Director Chen Xia, Xining Municipal People’s Government Deputy Mayor Wang Tong, ASLCSCC Vice President Amal Lokumana, Jaliya Senevirathne, Bimla Wijayasinghe, Dr. Tharaka Elvitigala and Goshitha Dullewe participated at the meeting.
