Sri Lanka’s leading stationary manufacturer, Atlas, recently rewarded the company’s retailers at an impressive retailer convention held at the Grand Oriental Hotel in Colombo.

High performing retailers were rewarded with valuable prizes and incentives in appreciation of their contribution in enhancing sales and ensuring a strong presence of the Atlas brand throughout the island.

Thirty-five top retailers were picked from an island-wide competition and felicitated at a well-attended ceremony.  Ten retailers were rewarded with three day tour to Bangkok while an additional twenty-five retailers were awarded a two-day weekend package for their families at a luxury hotel.  Prizes were distributed by the company’s CEO Nirmal Madanayake and COO Nishantha Hennadige.

The competition stirred a great deal of enthusiasm among the company’s retailers island-wide and provided a significant value addition for those retailers who have been loyal partners in the Atlas brand’s journey to the top of the country’s stationary brands, Madanayake said.  He added that high performing retailers such as those felicitated at the ceremony had also enabled the company to become one of the largest distribution companies in the country.

Atlas is the stationary brand of choice among the school and office segment and the market leader in several categories including the pen and book segment.  The company maintains over 500 stock keeping units including exercise books, pens and stationary items and is the only stationary brand available island wide.
